First Business Idea - Glamping Site

Glamping Site in Romania

The first business that the project will start with the funds raised from taxes is a Glamping Site in Romania. There are numerous reasons why we went with this:

  1. I, the founder ( 0x01000001 ), was born and raised in Romania, in the mountain side, nead the Dracula Castle. This comes with some advantages, being already aware of the potential a business like this, in this area, has, but also having knowledge of the regulatory system in Romania. Being already familiar with opening up a business in this country, what is needed to run it up properly and having experience about this is a big extra I feel we can use in the project's

  2. The investment is relatively low, in comparison with other businesses models, and the returns are pretty good as well.

Let's break this down:

  • With a 6% tax on both buys and sells, each 1 mil in volume generated will bring 40k$ in the treasury.

  • An approximate amount of money needed to set up and run the Glamping Site is around 150-250k$, so after 5 mil in volume we should be able to get it running. Of course, adding amenities is going to be necessary to increase the revenue generated and even have more clients ( such as jacuzzies, E-bike and ATV rentals, outdoor cinema nights, pool, children's playground, etc. ). I find it a reasonable amount of volume to have as a project that offers everyone trust by me doxxing myself, first of all, and beside that a lot of implication since this will be my main focus from now on, taking in consideration there are a lot of rugs who have more volume than 5 mil in a day.

  • This will take some time to be built from scratch, but it will be worth it eventually. There are already some similar businesses in different zones in Romania and none of them are worth the price they are asking for, they either have no facilities ( the cheaper ones ) or they are way too expensive for what they offer, but all of them have enough clients, in the summer at least ( we have a solution for this as well - A-frame houses. Even if the price for a A-frame house is more expensive, it runs all year long, not only in the summer. I plan to expand this idea in time, maybe even get a couple ).

  • The average price per night for a tent is around 50-100$, the cheapest one starting from 35$ and the most expensive ones going to 300$. It all depends on the faciliets and the zone you have the land. In our case, wanting to create someting glamorous, we want to be able to charge more for a higher margin profit.

  1. This touristic zone is thriving, because of the natural beauty and scenic surroundings. There is also a great demand for outdoor experiences and the tourism in Romania is also rising. There are so many outdoor activities that require low investment and give back great return as well, if you have the Glamping Site already ( such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, wildlife watching, ATV courses, SUP courses, etc. ). But by far, the untapped potential and LIMITED COMPETITION is the one of the strongest reasons why I see this a success already.

  • The ultimate goal would be to have at least 10-15 tents and also add ( in case there will be enough space, depending on the land we will buy at first ) 5-10 A-Frame houses, creating a huge luxourious touristical place for anybody to stay when wanting an espace from the urban life.

  • What will make it luxourious will be the facilities: a big common pool, pails for each tent and house to take a hot bath even if it is snowing outside, barbeque zone, relaxing zone, children's playground, etc. More ideas will come on the way.

  1. This is no easy task, but it is 100% a great investment that will pay off and that makes the project unique. This is only the first idea of business shared with you, there are a lot more on the list, but nothing ever comes good from spoiling everything at once.

Now let's talk about the steps needed in order to get this done and why there is no problem not having all the money from the start, since we can do things step by step:

  • Buying the land ( takiung in consideration the exact location, the surrounding so we know people will be able to hike or ride the E-bikes, the size because we have to see the final product from the beggining, and last but not least the price )

  • Making sure there is electricity and channeling and if not, pay to add them.

  • Getting all the paperwork ready from the Government ( creating the Official Business and getting the approval documents to build the business on the land ). This should be an easy step.

  • Doing research and buying the tents ( later A-Frame houses ). Waiting for them to be delievered and setting them up.

  • Hiring an interior designer and buying the furtniture needed to make the place as cozy as possible. I feel hiring a designer is required in order to get the most "glamourous" experience for the clients and it will eventually pay off.

  • Finding and hiring somebody that will go there everyday for cleaning the place after each client. This person will also need to be registered on the business name as an employee and paid monthly or we will negociate, depending on the flow of clients we will have.

  • Adding extra facilities ( we have already talked about it )

  • Paying attention to details and making the place scream WELCOME. As we all know it already, the best marketing will come from the clients posting themselves on social media being there, so it is a REQUIREMENT to make them post stories and Tik-Toks without even thinking about it, because of how the place and the view looks.

  • Marketing - Most. Crucial. Thing.

This would the the steps needed in order to make it viable and run, on short. More details will be talked with the community every time there will be a VC or a Twitter Spaces. You can also, anytime, pinch us ideas or ask questions.
